SIA “Amberfarm” or “Dzintarferma” grows sea buckthorn in the Smiltene region, Latvia, on an area of 15 ha, following the principles set out in the organic farming guidelines. This means that every stage of this agricultural production is monitored, starting from soil analysis, plant origin, fertilization plan and regular plant monitoring.
The farm grows 5 different sea buckthorn varieties with different product characteristics and different ripening and harvesting times. Excursions and master classes are organized on the farm, where everyone can participate in the preparation of unique products.
Our employees systematically attend various seminars and training courses to improve the nuances of sea buckthorn cultivation and processing.
The company distributes its products under the trade brands AmberFarm and Smiltenes dzintari, which characterize the cultivation and distribution of sea buckthorn berries.
